NAL Research Iridium 9602 GSM Tracker
The NAL Research Model 9602-GSM is a pocket-size, low-cost Iridium SBD satellite and GSM tracker. It can be programmed to automatically switch between the Iridium and cellular networks based on a predefined set of conditions. It can send either a standard or a 256-bit AES encrypted GPS report at a pre-programmed interval ranging from continuous to once every seven days. The interval can be changed remotely while the unit is in the field.
The Iridium 9602-GSM is an affordable dual mode Satellite/ GSM tracker, which operates on the global Iridium network as well as standard mobile networks. Its small size and low power consumption makes it an ideal asset tracker for a variety of needs.
For high value ground and sea based assets such as vehicles, vessels, railcars and shipping containers or aeronautical tracking on helicopters and fixed wing aircraft the Iridium 9602 GSM is the ideal tracking solution.
Weighing just 181g, the Iridium 9602-GSM can be used for overt or covert tracking and is capable of transmitting GPS coordinates from as little as every 4 seconds at altitudes of up to 164,000 feet and velocity of 500m per second.

GSM Connection
The Iridium 9602 GSM operates on global GSM networks to provide low-cost and efficient transmissions. It is capable of automatically switching to the Iridium satellite network when no GSM network is detected.
GPS Capability
The Iridium 9602 GSM satellite asset tracker is equipped with Location Based Services (LBS) enabling the transmission of GPS co-ordinates and GPS positioning anywhere on the globe.
Dust & Water Resistant
The Iridium 9602-GSM satellite asset tracker will operate from -40ºC to +85ºC and has been designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions.
SOS-Function
The Iridium 9602 GSM can activate critical, rapid response, when you need it. The programmable SOS button will transmit your GPS co-ordinates to pre-specified contacts, alerting them that assistance is required.
Follow-Me
The Iridium 9602 GSM ‘Follow Me’ asset tracking function uses a 2 way connection to Iridium satellite network to return its GPS co-ordinates and status from anywhere in the world when a ping is received.
