The Iridium South America Plan offers lower cost for individuals and organizations that need satellite communications in South America. The South America prepaid card will only work on land in South America and up to 12 nautical miles off shore.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The Iridium 100 Minute Prepaid Regional SIM Card for South America is loaded with 100 satellite phone minutes that can be used throughout South America.  This card cannot be reloaded. 
• When you purchase a South America Plan on your existing Iridium prepaid account, your current prepaid plan will be deactivated and all unused minutes and validity time will be forfeited. By purchasing this plan on your existing account you confirm that you have read and accepted this condition.
• If you want to keep unused minutes on your existing plan and would still like to have a South America plan, you should purchase a new South America and use both plans separately.
• All unused minutes will be lost after expiration or upon conversion to other prepaid plan.
• All rates are per minute, except SMS/text messages which are per message.
• Incoming calls and Outgoing calls are not available when outside South America.

SOUTHAMERICAN COUNTRIES

• Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guyana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.  

TERM AND CONDITIONS

• All SIM Cards require a one time $25.00 Activation fee.
• Calls made to another satellite network such as Inmarsat, Globalstar, Thuraya are debited at a higher rate than a standard Iridium-to-Land line call.
• Grace period for renewals: 90 days from date of expiry. If expiry grace period is missed, a new SIM card will need to be ordered.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Prepaid airtime is non-refundable
• If you run out of your pre-paid minutes on you sim card,  it may take a 24-48 hours to reload you card.
• Prices do not include any applicable taxes
