Beam Iridium Remote Satellite Voice & Data Terminal -RST100B

The Beam Iridium Remote Satellite Terminal RST100B provides reliable and suitable global telecommunications by giving access to voice, data, and messaging services via the Iridium satellite network. The RemoteSAT terminal is equipped with a range of interfaces to support the use of standard corded/cordless phones or integrated PABX communications. RemoteSAT also gives the option to access voice services using a compact Intelligent user handset-RST970 or the Hands-Free vehicle kit RST973.

The Beam RST100B supports long runs of standard copper telephone wire and multiple extensions can be connected to the terminal over distances up to 1000m.

RemoteSAT satellite terminal combines the robust design with the intelligent technology to support RJ11 / POTS. This terminal is capable of presenting dial, busy and ring tones to suit country specific requirements as well as auto-dial or restricted dial functionality. It also supports access to the complete range of data services provided by Iridium including Circuit Switched Data and Direct Internet as well as SMS.

The Beam RemoteSAT RST100B device enables the Beam Tracking RST030, alert tracking interface to be connected directly to the terminal and there is also a purpose built Back-up Battery-available that can provide up to 24 hours standby time for mission critical applications.

World Internet & Data Services - Using Iridium Data Services you can have access to the world from anywhere on earth. The complete range of Iridium data services allows you to simply and conveniently gain access to Internet, Email, and corporate LAN.

Hands-free Accessory -The Hands-free accessory for the RST100 isthe Beam RST973. The RST973 enables the audio and mic in/outputs from the RST100B to be interfaced to another integrated communication terminal such as in an aircraft, train or similar. The RST973 also enables installations to be made whereby Hands-free communications can be achieved along with the use of POTS/RJ11 standard handsets whereby it is then possible to use a cordless or similar handset away from the vehicle.

Inexpensive Calling- The ability for Iridium to provide standard pricing structure for calling from anywhere toanywhere without the need for confusing zones or bands, no unpredictable roamingcharges provides an inexpensive means of communicating.

PBX / In-building Integration - The RST100B can be easily integrated into aPBX system using the RJ11 connection,enabling calls to be made or received from anyextension within a building. In-building integration is ideal for lower costs satellite calling as well as emergency backup.
