The use of the 'Opera Mini App Broswer' is becasue it is a certain application that compresses sites info and data, as well as give you the bare bones of the site. It also lets you configure the App to operate even better so that you can use your Iridium GO! to view websites in text only, or other configurations. The Opera Mini App Browser is the only presented app that will let you view or browse in any way,...but also remember that the iridium system is, and never has been a fast satellite network with web browsing capabilities. 

Some of the highest speeds from the iridium system from a handheld satellite phone, or the iridium GO is around 9.6 kbps, however it seems as though iridium is trully learning how to get the most out pf the system through software, which is the key in everything these days.So with Iridium opening up the back-end to developers to make other Apps for certain things, it might be a possibility that a good developer could use the iridium GO, and backbone to really do allot of thing, and get allot out of it.
